Lawrence Doyle, a 1976 graduate of West Babylon High School, is currently chairman and co-founder ofKinetics Asset Management, Inc., a 6 billion dollar asset management
company located in Westchester County.
After graduating from West Babylon, he attended Suffolk Community College and in 1978, graduated with an AAS degree. He continued on to Pace University earning a Bachelors Degree, in 1980, with a triple major in finance, management and marketing.
Larry began his business career in 1978 when he accepted an entry level position at The American Stock Exchange which provided him with an opportunity to gain invaluable experience. As his career on Wall Street progressed, he assumed the position of Account Executive at Merrill Lynch. During this time, he attended night classes and earned his Masters Degree in International Business. By the end of 1992, Larry became First Vice President, Regional Manager for Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC., the second
oldest member of The New York Stock Exchange.
Larry‟s experience led to his formulating the idea to create his own investment company focused on the rapidly developing Internet industry. Convincing his mother, Margaret, a retired Superintendent of Schools, and his brother Peter, a seasoned Wall Street investment portfolio manager, that the concepts were sound, he launched Kinetics Asset Management, Inc. in 1996.
Larry resides in Briarcliff Manor and enjoys spending time with his wife Karen and their children Richie and Katherine. Larry is committed to helping others and
is active in the YMCA, Open Door Medical Clinics, Phelps Memorial Hospital, Giving Thanksgiving, LLC., The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, along with many other organizations.
Among his honors, Larry received the Alumni Achievement Award for Excellence from Suffolk Community College.
