Alumni Foundation supports WBHS Seniors

On June 12, 2024, the West Babylon Alumni Foundation continued its tradition of supporting West Babylon graduating seniors. The foundation once again participated in the High School’s annual Senior Awards Ceremony by giving out a combined total of $20,300 to 27 deserving students!

The West Babylon Alumni Foundation started with only one $250 scholarship to a deserving WB Senior in 2008. That was quickly raised to $1,000 a year later, and support for our high school seniors has remained a central part of the foundation’s work as the program has continued to grow ever since. To date, the grand total of scholarships given out by the West Babylon Alumni Foundation is $207,450.

Strong collaboration between the foundation’s generous donors, hard working volunteers, and the school district has made this incredible growth possible. We’re proud of the what has been accomplished for our students, and we’re all dedicated to the continued success of the scholarship program.
